Brooklyn Craft Farm is the creative duo of Julie Fischoff and Loulou Williams. We’ve sewn, painted, glittered and glued our way out of many a craft conundrum. Our collective experience includes styling for photo shoots, creating holiday window displays, and designing costumes / props for various theatrical and television productions. Clients have included: Parents magazine, PBS Kids Block, Discovery Channel, Comedy Central, ESPN, Fitness magazine, Ready Made magazine, Bloomingdales, Macys, and Martha Stewart.
We believe that with people spending so many hours behind computers, and school art programs being cut, there’s just not enough “making” happening these days. There should be! Crafting is educational and inspirational. Completing a project gives you inner satisfaction, and boosts your self -confidence.
Crafting isn’t about making things perfect, It’s about developing practical skills. Being able to craft means you can pass up that trendy overpriced t-shirt in the store—you know you can make it at home, cuter, cheaper and in orange instead of blue! It’s about being able to give one of a kind gifts that your friends and family ooh and ahh over. It’s about realizing that you are capable of making amazing, creative things.
So come join us at Brooklyn Craft Farm and craft til’ the cows come home!
